RUN DMC x ADIDAS 1986
RUN DMC are one of the most prolific Hip Hop groups ever created. Back during the early 80s, brands like Nike and Adidas were still seeking to become globally known in the world.
Michael Jordan started working together with Nike back in 1984, which until this day has become one of the most iconic collaborations ever done.
Then in 1986, Run Dmc became the first Hip Hop artists to sign a 1.6 million USD endorsement deal with Adidas. It became an instant success. They even made a song called "My Adidas".
And that year several limited edition promotional fashion items were released to the public. One of them was this rare sweater with a big embroidary of Run DMC logo on the front and back.
It is said only 500 were ever made. And now you have a chance to own a piece of Hip Hop history.
Condition is in excellent state for it's age. General light age wear. All lettering are in tact and there are no significant stains and damage. To find this in clean condition is quite difficult.
